Knutsford But Better
Look to the past, the present and the future.
My name is Gus Watson, I am thirty-three years old. I was brought up in Knutsford and in 2018 I bought my first home here and relocated my business to the town. Now, I wish to give back as much I can and represent you as a Knutsford Councillor.
Knutsford was always a great source of pride to my grandparents – and before them, my great grandfather was chairman of Knutsford Urban District Council and his father was a member of Knutsford Urban Council from its inception.
No matter where I am in the country and who I meet, I always take immense pride telling people where I am from. There are not many better places to call home than Knutsford, Cheshire.
The longer I live in Knutsford, the more I want to give my time to making our historic home better. Just like the Knutsfordians that came before, I want to ensure that our community of all ages and generations; walk around our town, shop in our town, congregate and socialise in our town, look around and appreciate our historic Knutsford.
In all we do, we should be aware of our responsibility to leave things better. I am committed to make Knutsford a better place to live and for everyone to appreciate, a place that others will visit and wish to live. Most importantly a town the next generation will want to live in or perhaps return to, to raise their families.
